 1. Harpal Singh Cheema

 Harpal Singh Cheema, MLA from Dirba, Sangrur, was made Leader of the Opposition by the Aam Aadmi Party after Sukhpal Singh Khaira in the last Assembly.

 Harpal Singh is a lawyer by profession.  He has been elected Aam Aadmi Party MLA for the second time from Dirba reserved seat.

 Harpal Cheema started his career at Punjabi University Patiala as a student activist.

 Cheema was also the President of District Bar Association Sangrur.

 Harpal Singh Cheema is a resident of Cheema village in Dhuri.

 2. Gurmeet Singh Meet Hair

 Gurmeet Singh Mit Haier has become Aam Aadmi Party MLA for the second time from Barnala.

 In this election he has defeated Kulwant Singh of Akali Dal.

 According to the affidavit given to the Election Commission, he has declared his income as MLA, his salary and agriculture.

 He is a BTech graduate from Vivekananda Institute of Technology.

 Meet Hair Anna Hazare, who was preparing for the civil service exam, joined the Aam Aadmi Party after the agitation.

 Mitt Hayer told reporters that at one point his friends used to say, "Whichever way you go, there is no change, no revolution."

 He said that he was preparing for UPSC and at the same time joined the Anna Hazare movement and at the same time he joined the party and did not join any other political party.

 He says he and his college friends are currently party MLAs.  Meet Hair himself from Barnala, Amritpal Sidhu from Bagha Purana and Amolak from Jaito are party MLAs.

 3. Dr.  Vijay Singla

 Vijay Singla has reached the assembly from Mansa constituency after winning his first election.

 His seat became a hot seat because Sidhu Musewala, who came into politics from singing, was nominated by the Congress.

 Dr. Vijay Singla is a dentist by profession.  Interestingly, candidates from the main parties Aam Aadmi Party, Congress and Akali Dal were contesting for the first time.

 "It is the prerogative of Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann to decide who should be included and who should not," Singla told reporters.

 Vijay Singla told about his background that his village is Bhopal.  My father owns a small grocery store.  They taught us hard.  My elder brother Sahib is the General Manager in Punjab National Bank.  We were inspired to study by our father Hur and mother. ”

 4. Dr.  Baljit Kaur

 In Malout seat, Baljit Kaur defeated Harpreet Singh of Akali Dal by a margin of more than 40,000 votes.

 Baljit Kaur is the daughter of Sadhu Singh, a former Member of Parliament from Faridkot, who also campaigned for her father in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

 Baljit Kaur joined the Aam Aadmi Party about four years ago and is contesting the Assembly elections for the first time.

 Baljit Kaur is an ophthalmologist.  He was also awarded Best Surgeon by the Government of India.

 Baljit Kaur, who was working as an ophthalmologist at Civil Hospital Muktsar, had taken pre-retirement four months ago.

 After retiring, he started his services by starting a private clinic.

 It was rumored during the election that he used to check the patients daily before starting the election campaign.

 She has studied MBBS and MS. Speaking to a private TV channel, Baljit Kaur said, "I myself was not aware of this before and when people greeted me, I came to know about it."

 Dr. Baljit Kaur spoke to the journalist.  He said that he was thankful to the people of his constituency who had shown confidence in him.

 At the same time he said that I am thankful to Shri Arvind Kejriwal ji and Bhagwant Mann ji who considered me worthy that I am being given the responsibility of cabinet.

 He claimed that the people were "happy to serve as an ophthalmologist and did not allow me to be transferred and I worked as an ophthalmologist at Malout Hospital for eight consecutive years."

 He said the party had "conducted a survey on him in which people voted in favor and after that the party nominated me".

 5. Harjot Singh Bains

 Harjot Singh Bains is a resident of Gambhirpur village in Rupnagar district.

 He has won the election from Anandpur Sahib constituency on behalf of Aam Aadmi Party.

 He was accompanied by Congress' Kanwar Pal Singh and BJP's Dr.  Parminder Sharma was defeated.

 Harjot Singh is a lawyer by profession and has studied BA LLB.

 6. Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal

 Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal is a resident of Jagdev Kalan village in Amritsar district.

 He has won from Ajnala seat on behalf of Aam Aadmi Party.

 His opponents were Harpartap Singh Ajnala of Congress and Surjit Singh of Punjab Lok Congress.

 Kuldeep Singh is a 10th grader.  Kuldeep Singh belongs to the old Congress family and his brother has been the Congress Sarpanch.

 7. Lal Chand Kataruchak

 Lal Chand is a resident of Kataruchak village in Pathankot.  On behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party, he has won the Bhoja Assembly seat.

 His opponents were Joginder Pal of the Congress and Seema Kumari of the BJP.  Lal Chand is a 10th grader.

 Lal Chand defeated his rival Seema Rani of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Joginder Pal of the Congress.

 Lal Chand told the Election Commission that he did not have any immovable property.

 He writes that he is a social worker and has no income.  However, he did mention a Swift car and a Honda Activa in his movable property.

 Lal Chand told reporters about the announcement made by the Chief Minister, "I came to know from the media.  Some comrades came. "

 He said, "He was from Chandigarh but he did not see the tweet first and later he saw everything, both the tweet and the media."

 "I have been in politics for 34 years," he said.  I am serving the people.  I was satisfied that people made me MLA but this is a different gift that the party has given me. "

 Lal Chand said that on the basis of priority, "rebuilding people's confidence in politics is a big challenge and after that we will work towards fulfilling the promises made by the party to the people".

 8. Braham Shankar Sharma

 Braham Shankar Sharma is a resident of Hoshiarpur.  He has won the Hoshiarpur assembly seat from the Aam Aadmi Party.

 His rivals were Sundar Sham Arora of the Congress and Tikshan Sood of the BJP.  Braham Shankar is 12th pass.

 9. Laljit Singh Bhullar

 Laljit Singh is a resident of Bhullar Patti.  He has won the seat from the strip assembly seat on behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party.

 He was up against Harminder Singh of Congress and Jaskaran Toot Gill of Punjab Lok Congress.  Laljit is a 12th grader.

 10. Harbhajan Singh ETO

 Harbhajan Singh has won the ETO Jandiala reserved seat and reached the Vidhan Sabha.

 Harbhajan Singh's opponents were Satinderjit Singh Chhajalwadi of Shiromani Akali Dal and Sukhwinder Singh Danny of Congress.

 According to an affidavit filed with the Election Commission, Harbhajan Singh is a lawyer by profession.  His wife is a government employee.

 He said his income came from advocacy and pension.

 Kotkapura MLA Kultar Singh Sandhwan thanked Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann for making him the Speaker.

 Kultar Singh, MLA for the second time, "Thank you very much for the confidence of my leader Shri Arvind Kejriwal and my Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann in nominating me as the Speaker of the historic 16th Vidhan Sabha."

 Kultar Singh defeated his opposing Congress candidate Ajitpal Singh Sandhu and Shiromani Akali Dal's Mantar Singh Brar.

 They have a daughter and a son.  In his profession he has described agriculture and business.
