 Jalandhar Corona has impacted everyone's life.  The way of working has changed and the distance between people has also increased but now if we want to live with Corona, then people have started to mold their lifestyle accordingly.  This time the wedding season is going to start from October, then the wedding planners have started preparations along with the bride-groom side.  According to experts and planners, the business decreased due to the lockdown while the distance between people also increased.  Now people are meeting each other again and ignoring the rules of Kovid-19.  In such a situation, the organizers of marriage and other gatherings will have to fulfill their responsibility.  In Punjab it is customary that more and more people are invited to the wedding, but Corona has shortened this list while the rules have increased.  In such a situation, the challenges have also increased for the wedding planners and the bride-groom side.  In the coming days, social distancing will be a rule in weddings.  An N-95 mask will be available as a welcome kit, instead of a heavily decorated gate, it will have to be replaced by a sanitizing tunnel.  The central government has given permission for events and weddings with 100 guests from September 21.  But wedding planners are also planning about booking weddings after lockdown with Corona in mind so that infection can be avoided.

 Bookings reduced in hotels, business is half

 Rajan Chopra, MD, Ramada Hotel, says that earlier, 2 to 3 wedding functions were booked on the same day, but now this rate has come down considerably.  Nearly 40 percent less bookings have been done for the coming 3 months as well.  At the same time, Arvinder Singh, MD of Regent Park Hotel, says that only 15% of their bookings have been halved.  Whereas last year, there were 28 days of bookings in this month.  Yashwant of Best Western Hotel says that earlier they had many bookings for wedding.  Booking is 50 per cent this time compared to last year.  That too is the end of October and the month of November.  There are no bookings after the first week of December.

जालंधर कोरोना ने सभी की जिंदगी पर असर छोड़ा है । कामकाज के तरीके बदल गए और लोगों में एक - दूसरे के प्रति दूरी भी बढ़ी लेकिन अब कोरोना के साथ ही जीना है तो लोगों ने अपनी जीवनशैली  को इसी के अनुरूप ढालना शुरू कर दिया है । इस बार अक्टूबर से शादियों का सीजन शुरू होने वाला है तो वर - वधु पक्ष के साथ - साथ वेडिंग प्लानर्स ने भी तैयारी शुरू कर दी है । एक्सपर्ट्स और प्लानर्स की मानें तो लॉकडाउन के चलते कारोबार कम हुआ जबकि लोगों में आपसी दूरी भी बढ़ी । अब लोग एक - दूसरे से दोबारा मिलने लगे हैं और कोविड -19 के नियमों की अनदेखी भी कर रहे हैं । ऐसे में शादी आदि समागमों को आर्गेनाइज करने वालों को अपनी जिम्मेदारी निभानी होगी । पंजाब में रिवाज है कि शादी में ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोगों को निमंत्रण दिया जाता है लेकिन कोरोना ने इस लिस्ट को छोटा कर दिया है जबकि नियम - कायदे बढ़ गए हैं । ऐसे में वेडिंग प्लानर्स और वर - वधु पक्ष के लिए भी चुनौतियां बढ़ गई हैं । आने वाले दिनों में होने वाली शादियों में सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग एक नियम होगा । वेलकम किट के रूप में एन -95 मास्क मिलेगा तो भारी - भरकम सजावट वाले गेट की जगह सैनिटाइजिंग टनल से निकलना होगा । केंद्र सरकार की ओर से 21 सिंतबर से 100 मेहमानों के साथ इवेंट और शादियों के लिए इजाजत दे दी गई है । लेकिन वेडिंग प्लानर्स लॉकडाउन के बाद हुई शादियों की बुकिंग के बारे में भी कोरोना के ध्यान में रखकर ही प्लानिंग कर रहे हैं ताकि संक्रमण से बचा जा सके ।

होटलों में घटी बुकिंग , कारोबार हुआ आधा 

रमाडा होटल के एमडी राजन चोपड़ा बताते हैं कि पहले कई बार एक ही दिन में 2 से 3 वेडिंग फंक्शन बुक होते थे लेकिन अब यह दर काफी कम हो गई है । आने वाले 3 महीनों के लिए भी करीब 40 प्रतिशत कम बुकिंग हुई है । वहीं रिजेंट पार्क होटल के एमडी अरविंदर सिंह बताते हैं उनके पास सिर्फ 15 फीसदी बुकिंग ही कारोबार हुआ आधा हुई है । जबकि पिछले साल इस महीने में 28 दिन बुकिंग थी । बेस्ट वेस्टर्न होटल के यशवंत कहते हैं कि पहले उनके पास वेडिंग की कई बुकिंग होती थीं । पिछले साल के मुकाबले इस बार बुकिंग 50 फीसदी ही है । वो भी अक्टूबर के अंत और नवंबर के महीने की है । दिसंबर के पहले हफ्ते के बाद कोई बुकिंग नहीं हुई है ।
